Job description
Your Mission
As a Technical UI/Motion Designer, you will craft and bring to life the interface of Million Lords. You’ll create clear, appealing UI assets and satisfying motion that make interfaces impactful, smooth and rewarding, while respecting the game’s visual identity..
You will:
* Design and deliver interfaces for new features and live ops, while improving existing screens through incremental enhancements (visual hierarchy, readability, and overall appeal).
* Collaborate closely with the design and Art teams to translate gameplay needs and user journeys into creative and visually appealing interfaces.
* Define the graphical aspects of the interface (shapes, iconography, typography, colors, animations, textures, logos) while taking into account the game’s art direction as well as mobile technical and performance constraints.
* Prototype, test, and iterate on interfaces based on feedback from the design, art, and product teams in order to optimize the player experience.
* Create animations, micro-interactions, and visual effects (motion design / VFX) that enhance clarity, player feedback, and engagement (transitions, action feedback, reward moments, etc.).
* Implement UI and motion elements in Unity in collaboration with programmers, ensuring their integration and proper functioning across different mobile devices.
Profile required
You have:
* 4+ years of experience in UI Design within the video game industry on mobile games
* Strong graphic design skills with a good understanding of art direction
* Excellent visual communication and interface design fundamentals
* Motion design skills for UI animations and micro-interactions
* Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
* Knowledge of VFX applied to UI and player feedback
* Ability to implement UI and motion elements in a game engine (Unity) in collaboration with developers
*Fluent in French , knowledge in English is a plus
Soft skills :
* Strong cross-disciplinary communication with game designers, UX designers, artists, programmers, and production teams
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage iterations, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality
* High attention to detail with a strong sense of polish and quality
* Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback to improve the player experience
